Empowering the local community: Bridging people and services for a Community Connections Event at Todmorden Health Centre

In a warm and friendly environment, the event aims to create a space where people can come together, connect with their neighbours and learn more about the support available to them. Whether you’re looking for advice, interested in what support is available in your community, or simply want to enjoy a chat in a safe, inclusive space, this event is for you!  
 
Local services will be present to answer questions, provide information and engage with you as part of ongoing efforts to develop an Integrated Neighbourhood Team in the Upper Calder Valley. They are eager to hear from you, listen to your needs and strengthen community connections.  

An Integrated Neighbourhood team is a group of local professionals and services who work together to help people in a specific area. Instead of everyone working separately, they combine efforts to offer better, more coordinated care and support to people. This team makes it easier for local people to get the help they need in one place, whether its healthcare, social services or community resources. The goal is to improve well-being and ensure everyone gets the right support at the right time.   
 
The event is a great chance to build relationships with local support services and make meaningful connections in a relaxed setting – plus it’s free, and everyone is welcome!
